When determination really is key

Something that I wanted to do a lot during my life as a health and social care student is to become a first aider. Being visually impaired and wanting to do this is very much a dream for most people like me. There is a lot of stigma around what a visually impaired person can really do, but I am not one to stick with the norm, I wanted to become a first aider and have another thing to be proud of. A few months ago this exact thing happened to me, and RNIB Connect radio interviewed me after qualifying so, why wait!
